Ebrima Gaye joins Arsimi from FC Ballkani on loan

The Gambia centre-forward Ebrima Gaye has joined North Macedonian club Arsimi from FC Ballkani on loan, completing his move on 26 August 2026.

The 23-year-old striker’s loan is scheduled to run until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to Kosovo club Ballkani. Arsimi compete in North Macedonia’s Prva liga, while Ballkani play in the Superliga e Kosoves.

Gaye moves after six months with Ballkani, having joined the club from BST Galaxy FC on a free transfer on 4 February 2026. His time at Ballkani came after an earlier free transfer from Senegalese side Casa Sports to BST Galaxy FC on 1 January 2025.

The 1.92m forward is right-footed and plays primarily as a centre-forward. He has not yet made an appearance in the 2026-27 Superliga e Kosoves campaign or in UEFA Conference League qualifying, according to his current-season record.

Arsimi have added Gaye to their squad during a campaign in which he is also registered to compete in the Prva liga. The move gives the Gambian attacker a new club environment after his short spell with Ballkani, with the loan arrangement linking him to Arsimi for the remainder of the season.

Gaye was born in Bijilo and is listed as a Gambian national. His move to Arsimi is the latest step in a club career that has included spells in Senegal, The Gambia and Kosovo before his switch to North Macedonia.

Ballkani remain the parent club under the agreement, with Gaye’s return to the Kosovo side recorded for the end of the loan period. The transfer was completed on 26 August and the loan runs through to 30 June 2027.
