Pyramids FC officials are intensifying negotiations with Croatian coach Krunoslav Jurčić, the former head coach of Saudi club Al-Nassr, aiming to secure his services as a replacement for the dismissed Portuguese coach Jaime Pacheco, as announced on Monday.
Sources informed “Al-Masry Al-Youm” that Krunoslav Jurčić is currently in advanced talks with Pyramids FC, having received direct contact from the club’s officials.
It is expected that the agreement will be finalized upon Jurčić’s arrival in Cairo within the next few hours.
The Pyramids FC management expressed gratitude to Portuguese coach Jaime Pacheco and his foreign coaching staff for their tenure with the club’s first-team.
Pacheco’s dismissal was confirmed today as part of the club’s restructuring efforts.
The potential appointment of Krunoslav Jurčić is seen as a strategic move by Pyramids FC to bring in a coach with experience and a proven track record, signaling their determination to make a strong impact in domestic and international competitions.
