Strmmen bring in Nigerian-English forward Terry Benjamin on loan from IK Start
Nigerian-English centre-forward Terry Benjamin has joined Strmmen from IK Start on loan, completing a move between Norwegian clubs on 25 August 2026.
The 22-year-old will remain with Strmmen until 31 December 2026, when the loan is scheduled to end and he is due to return to IK Start. Strmmen compete in Norway’s OBOS-ligaen, while Benjamin’s parent club play in the Eliteserien.
Benjamin began the 2026 season with IK Start but had not made an appearance in the Eliteserien before switching clubs. He was also unused in the NM-Cup, with no appearances recorded in either competition.
The London-born forward joined IK Start in March 2025 and now moves on after a spell with the club. His earlier football included time at Buckswood FA, where he was registered from 2019 to 2023.
At 1.93m, Benjamin offers Strmmen a tall option in the centre-forward position. He is left-footed and holds Nigerian and English nationality. His recorded market value is €50,000.
The move gives Benjamin the opportunity to play for Strmmen during the remainder of the 2026 campaign, while his registration remains linked to IK Start beyond the loan period. The agreement includes a confirmed return to IK Start at the end of December.
Benjamin’s move was completed on 25 August, with Strmmen securing the centre-forward on loan from IK Start.
