Zamalek Football Club officially announced on Wednesday evening the departure of Moatamed Jamal from the White Castle, after he declined to continue as part of the coaching staff under Portuguese coach José Gomes.

The club released a statement through its official accounts, expressing gratitude to Moatamed Jamal for his contributions to the team throughout the current season.

Hussein Labib, the president of Zamalek, responded to the decision of Moatamed Jamal’s departure through his official Facebook account.

Labib’s initial comment after expressing gratitude to Moatamed Jamal was a succinct yet powerful statement: “Zamalek first.”

In his message to Moatamed Jamal, Labib elaborated further, saying, “Thank you very much, Captain Moatamed Jamal, a loyal son of Zamalek Club. You took on the task in a challenging time and exerted your utmost effort throughout your tenure.”

He continued, “You have always demonstrated a sense of responsibility and are among the best individuals I have dealt with in my sporting life. I had hoped you would stay with your club so that we could continue together what we started. However, I respect your decision, and I wish you success in your next step.”
