Morocco youngster Ayyoub Bouaddi undergoes successful Manchester City medical

Moroccan teenage sensation Ayyoub Bouaddi has taken another major step towards completing his much-anticipated transfer to Manchester City after successfully undergoing his medical examination.

The 18-year-old midfielder is set to leave French Ligue 1 side Lille for the Premier League champions in a deal that could become one of the biggest transfers in the history of the French club.

According to reports, Bouaddi completed his medical with Manchester City on Monday as the English giants move closer to officially securing his services.

City and Lille have already reached an agreement on a transfer package worth €95 million, with the deal also containing a further €5 million in potential performance-related bonuses.

The agreement comes after Manchester City reportedly reached an understanding with Bouaddi over personal terms. The Moroccan international is expected to sign a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium, with an option that could extend his stay for an additional year.

Bouaddi has emerged as one of the most highly regarded young midfielders in European football, and his proposed move to City represents a major step forward in his rapidly developing career.

For Lille, the transfer would also mark a significant financial milestone. If the deal is completed as expected, Bouaddi will overtake Nicolas Pépé as the club’s most expensive outgoing player.
