Bradley Barcola confident of Liverpool move before transfer deadline
Bradley Barcola remains confident that he can complete a long-awaited move from Paris Saint-Germain to Liverpool before the summer transfer window closes.
According to L’Equipe, the France international has already given his approval in principle to joining the Premier League club.
Barcola’s preference for Liverpool reportedly became clear after he decided not to extend his current PSG contract, which runs until 2028. The winger has also held discussions with Liverpool officials and manager Andoni Iraola about the proposed transfer.
Despite the player’s position, negotiations between the two clubs remain the main obstacle. PSG continue to demand a substantial fee, while Liverpool have so far failed to match the French champions’ valuation. The English club had previously prepared an offer worth approximately €115 million, but that figure has not yet brought the parties together.
Barcola’s representatives remain optimistic that progress can be made before deadline day. Liverpool see the 23-year-old as a valuable addition to their attack, while PSG must decide whether to retain a player whose future appears increasingly uncertain.
For now, Barcola continues training in Paris as both clubs work toward a solution. A stronger Liverpool proposal could determine whether the winger begins a new chapter in England this summer.
