Jagiellonia target Castellon striker Ousmane Camara in Ekstraklasa move

Guinean forward Ousmane Camara is being linked with a move from Castellon to Polish club Jagiellonia, with the Ekstraklasa side considering a transfer for the 24-year-old striker.

Camara has started both of Castellon’s LaLiga2 matches this season and has scored once, completing all available minutes. The centre-forward joined the Spanish club from AJ Auxerre in August 2024 in a deal reported at €500,000.

He remains under contract with Castellon until 30 June 2029, meaning any move would involve negotiations between the clubs rather than a free transfer. The proposed switch would take him from Spain’s second tier to Poland’s top division.

Camara developed at Auxerre, progressing from the club’s under-19 side to the reserve team before establishing himself in the senior squad. He also spent part of the 2023-24 campaign on loan at FC Annecy, before returning to Auxerre and later moving permanently to Castellon.

His only senior honour listed is the French second-tier title won with Auxerre in the 2023-24 season.

Jagiellonia’s interest comes as Camara begins his third season with Castellon, where his current form has seen him start the campaign as a regular in attack. No transfer fee or agreement has been confirmed, and the rumour remains at the linking stage.
