Bologna linked with NEOM SC defender Nathan Zeze

France and Ivory Coast defender Nathan Zeze is being linked with a move from Saudi Pro League club NEOM SC to Serie A side Bologna.

The 21-year-old centre-back joined NEOM from French club Nantes in July 2025 in a €20m transfer and has a current market value of €20m. He signed a contract running until 30 June 2030.

Zeze has started all three of NEOM’s Saudi Pro League matches this season, playing 227 minutes. He also appeared in the King’s Cup, providing one assist in a 1-0 win.

The defender came through Nantes’ academy and was part of the club’s under-19 side that won the French U19 championship in 2022-23 before progressing to the senior team.

A switch to Bologna would take Zeze from the Saudi Pro League to Serie A, with the Italian club the side currently linked with him. No transfer fee or probability has been established for the proposed move.

Zeze remains a NEOM player, with four appearances across domestic competitions so far this season and three years remaining on his contract.
