Nice eye Inter’s French-Algerian midfielder Yanis Massolin

Yanis Massolin, the 23-year-old French-Algerian midfielder at Inter, has been linked with a move to French club Nice.

The rumour would see Massolin leave Serie A for Ligue 1, although there is no indication that a transfer has been agreed. The attacking midfielder joined Inter from Modena for €3.5m in February 2026 and was immediately loaned back to the Italian club. He returned to Inter at the end of June.

Massolin has yet to make an appearance for Inter this season, with the club having played one Serie A fixture. He has not started or featured from the bench in the campaign so far.

Inter have him under contract until 30 June 2030, meaning any move to Nice would require an agreement between the clubs rather than a free transfer. Massolin’s current market value is listed at €4.5m.

Born in Moulins, France, Massolin has represented both France and Algeria as nationalities. His earlier career included spells with Clermont Foot and Belgian side Francs Borains before his move to Modena in July 2025.

For now, Massolin remains an Inter player, with the Nice link representing a reported possibility rather than a confirmed move.
