SKN St. Polten consider move for Royal Antwerp striker Gabriel Jesus David

Nigerian forward Gabriel Jesus David, currently with Royal Antwerp, has been linked with a move to Austrian second-tier club SKN St. Polten.

The 19-year-old centre-forward joined Antwerp permanently from PSF Academy on 1 July 2025 in a deal valued at €200,000. He remains under contract with the Belgian club until 30 June 2029.

David has yet to feature for Antwerp in the 2026-27 Jupiler Pro League season, despite the club having played three possible matches. He has not made an appearance, started a game or registered a goal or assist during the campaign so far.

A move to SKN St. Polten would take David to Austria’s 2. Liga, with the club exploring a potential transfer from the Belgian top flight. His current market value is listed at €200,000.

David initially joined Antwerp on loan from PSF Academy in February 2025 before returning to the club permanently five months later. The Nigerian striker has not been credited with senior international appearances or honours in the available records.

The proposed transfer remains a rumour, with no confirmation that an agreement has been reached between Antwerp, SKN St. Polten or the player. David’s long-term contract at Royal Antwerp remains in place while his future is considered.
