Couhaib Driouech linked with Celta Vigo move after PSV title success

Moroccan-Dutch winger Couhaib Driouech has been linked with a move from PSV to Celta Vigo in La Liga. The 24-year-old left winger joined PSV from Excelsior in July 2024 for €3.5m and remains under contract with the Dutch champions until 30 June 2029.

Driouech has not appeared for PSV in the opening three Eredivisie matches of the 2026-27 season. He also did not feature in the 2026 Johan Cruijff Schaal, which PSV won.

The possible switch to Spain would come after Driouech helped PSV retain the Eredivisie title in the 2025-26 campaign. It would also represent the latest move in a career spent in the Netherlands, having developed through Heerenveen’s youth system before senior spells with Heerenveen and Excelsior.

Driouech was born in Haarlem and is eligible to represent both Morocco and the Netherlands. He won the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco in 2023.

His current market value is listed at €7.5m, while his long-term PSV contract means the club is not facing an imminent expiry decision. The reported interest from Celta Vigo concerns a potential move from the Eredivisie to La Liga, but the transfer has not been confirmed.
