Nigeria defender Demehin Oluwatosin bids farewell to Galatasaray Women after contract expiry
Nigeria’s Super Falcons defender Demehin Oluwatosin has brought her spell with Galatasaray Women to an end following the expiration of her contract.
Demehin joined Galatasaray with the ambition of making her mark at one of Turkey’s prominent clubs, while also using the experience to further establish herself at the international level with the Super Falcons.
Following the conclusion of her contract, the defender took to social media to formally announce her departure and express her appreciation to the club for the opportunity to represent its women’s team.

I leave with great respect, gratitude, pride and unforgettable memories. Wishing the club continued success.”
Her departure now leaves the defender facing a new chapter in her professional career, with her experience in Turkey adding to her growing profile as a Nigerian international.
Demehin has been part of the Super Falcons setup and continues to be regarded as one of the promising defenders in Nigerian women’s football. Her experience playing abroad has also provided her with exposure to a different football environment and further opportunities to develop her game.
As she closes the door on her Galatasaray chapter, attention will now turn to her next destination and the next challenge in her career.
