Iliman Ndiaye’s Premier League preference could put Arsenal in frame

Arsenal are considering Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye as a possible attacking addition, with the Senegal international emerging as one of the options being assessed by the London club.

The 26-year-old is being looked at as a player who could bring greater pace, directness and creativity to Arsenal’s forward line. His potential availability may also be connected to uncertainty surrounding Gabriel Martinelli, who has been linked with a move away from the club.

Ndiaye impressed in Everton’s 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace, providing the assist for one of his side’s goals. The performance came at a time when the forward is attracting interest from several clubs during the summer transfer window.

According to Africafoot, Al Hilal have approached the Senegal international about a possible move to Saudi Arabia. However, Ndiaye is reported to have rejected the opportunity to join the Saudi Pro League club.

Should he leave Everton, Ndiaye’s preference would be to remain in the Premier League. That stance could strengthen Arsenal’s interest, as the player would not need to adapt to a new country or competition if he moved to north London.

Martinelli’s situation could make Ndiaye a particularly attractive option for Arsenal. The Brazil winger is currently being tipped to depart, while Al Hilal are said to have shown concrete interest in signing him. Arsenal would reportedly be willing to consider a substantial offer for Martinelli.
