Louay El Moussaoui: Morocco left-back exits Ittihad Tanger
Morocco left-back Louay El Moussaoui has left Ittihad Tanger and is now without a club after completing his move away from the Botola Pro Inwi side.
The 22-year-old’s departure was recorded on 23 August 2026, ending his spell with the club after one season in the senior squad. El Moussaoui joined Ittihad Tanger from Tanger B on 1 July 2025, having previously progressed through IRT Tanger’s youth setup.
El Moussaoui made 11 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi during his time with Ittihad Tanger, playing 530 minutes. He also featured three times in the Excellence Cup, accumulating a further 270 minutes.
Born in Tanger on 20 March 2004, El Moussaoui is a Morocco international-eligible defender who operates primarily at left-back. He is 1.77m tall and favours his left foot, offering a natural fit for the position in which he has made his senior appearances.
His move away from Ittihad Tanger leaves the defender available after a campaign in which he featured in both league and cup competition. Before establishing himself with the senior club, he spent the 2024-25 season with Tanger B after moving up from IRT Tanger’s youth ranks.
El Moussaoui’s market value was listed at €125,000 at the time of his departure, following a season in which he recorded 14 appearances across the Botola Pro Inwi and Excellence Cup. His playing record with Ittihad Tanger represents the latest stage of a career developed in Tanger.
The defender has therefore ended his association with Ittihad Tanger and became without a club on 23 August 2026.
