Saudi First Division 2026-27: what to know as new campaign kicks off
The Saudi First Division League season begins on Friday, 21 August 2026, with the campaign scheduled to run until May 2027.
Al-Okhdood, Al-Zulfi, Al-Najma and Al-Raed are among the clubs listed as early winners in the opening standings, while Al-Wehda, Al-Adalah, Al Bukayriyah and Al Anwar have each taken a point from their first match.

Opening fixtures
The first scheduled games include Al-Jeel against Al-Zulfi on Friday, 21 August at 18:50 Saudi time, or 19:50 in the United Arab Emirates, at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City. Al Bukayriyah host Al Anwar at 19:15, while Al-Wehda face Al-Adalah at 20:50 at King Abdulaziz Sports City.
On Saturday, 22 August, Al-Najma meet Al-Jandal at 19:15 at King Abdullah Sports City in Buraidah. Al Tai play Al-Okhdood at 19:20 at Prince Abdulaziz bin مساعد bin Jalawi Stadium, before Al-Orobah take on Al-Raed at 20:50 at Al-Orobah Club Stadium.
