Nejmeh SC bring in Congo winger Grace Mavoungou from AS Otoho
Congo winger Grace Mavoungou has joined Nejmeh SC from AS Otoho, completing a move to the Lebanese Premier League club at the age of 18.
Mavoungou, who plays on the left wing, began his new chapter with Nejmeh on 22 August 2026. The move takes him from AS Otoho in Congo to a club competing in Lebanon’s top flight.
The teenager arrives after making 10 appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup, where he scored once and provided two assists. He played 459 minutes in the competition, averaging one goal every 459 minutes.
Mavoungou’s recent football has been centred on AS Otoho, whom he joined from fellow Congolese club Diables Noirs on 1 July 2025. His spell at AS Otoho preceded the move to Nejmeh, which represents a change of league and country for the young attacker.
Born in Dolisie on 18 March 2008, Mavoungou is listed as a left winger and has Congo nationality. His role gives Nejmeh an attacking option on the left side as the club adds a young player with recent continental experience to its squad.
His record in the CAF Confederation Cup includes contributions in both scoring and creating goals. Across his 10 appearances, he registered one goal and two assists, giving him three direct goal contributions during the competition.
Nejmeh are based in Lebanon and compete in the Lebanese Premier League. Mavoungou’s arrival marks his third recorded club move, following his time with Diables Noirs and AS Otoho.
The transfer history also records Mavoungou’s move to Diables Noirs on 1 July 2024, before his subsequent switch to AS Otoho a year later. He now leaves Congolese club football after one season with AS Otoho.
No contract length has been given for Mavoungou’s move, and the transfer details do not include a fee. The completed transfer takes him from AS Otoho to Nejmeh SC as the club’s new Congo winger.
