Stade Reims B sign Morocco Under-17 winner Chouaib Bellaarouch
Morocco goalkeeper Chouaib Bellaarouch has joined Stade Reims B from AM Football on a free transfer, with the 18-year-old signing a contract until 30 June 2027.
Bellaarouch completed the move on 21 August 2026, beginning a new chapter in France after leaving AM Football. He joins Reims’ reserve side as a goalkeeper and is the latest young player to make the switch to the club.
Born in Casablanca, Bellaarouch stands 1.88m tall and is right-footed. His arrival gives Stade Reims B another goalkeeper option while providing the Moroccan with a move into a new footballing environment at the start of the 2026-27 season.
Bellaarouch has already earned recognition at international youth level with Morocco. He was part of the Morocco Under-17 team that won the Under-17 Africa Cup in 2025, an achievement that stands as the most significant team honour of his career so far.
He also won the Golden Gloves award during the 2024-25 season with Morocco Under-17. The accolade recognises his performances in goal during that campaign and adds individual recognition to his international honours.
The goalkeeper’s contract with Stade Reims B runs through to the end of June 2027. The agreement sets out his initial period with the club following his departure from AM Football, with no transfer fee involved in the move.
Stade Reims B compete with a squad structure that allows emerging players to continue their development within the club. For Bellaarouch, the move represents a first recorded transfer outside his previous club and takes him from AM Football to a French side after his success with Morocco’s Under-17 team.
His international achievements provide the main background to the move. Bellaarouch now joins Stade Reims B as an African youth champion and former Golden Gloves winner, with his next contract beginning immediately after the completed free transfer.
Bellaarouch has signed for Stade Reims B until 30 June 2027.
