Villarreal consider move for Morocco defender Ayoub Sahnoune
Moroccan centre-back Ayoub Sahnoune is being linked with a move from Hassania to Villarreal, with the 20-year-old potentially attracting interest from the LaLiga club.
Sahnoune joined Hassania’s first team from HUSA U21 on 31 January 2026 after progressing through the club’s youth system. He made 10 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi during the 2025-26 campaign, playing 881 minutes.
The Agadir-born defender is a right-footed centre-back and has represented Hassania since moving into senior football earlier this year. His current agreement with the Moroccan club runs until 30 June 2028.
A move to Villarreal would take Sahnoune from Morocco’s top flight to Spain, although the rumour remains unconfirmed and no transfer fee or agreement has been reported. His listed market value is €50,000.
Sahnoune’s senior career remains at an early stage, with his 10 league appearances representing his recorded first-team involvement for Hassania. He is currently under contract at the club, meaning any transfer to Villarreal would involve negotiations before the agreement expires.
