Morocco winger Imad Riahi leaves RS Berkane to become a free agent
Morocco winger Imad Riahi has joined the ranks of players without a club after leaving RS Berkane, bringing his spell with the Moroccan side to an end.
The 26-year-old right winger’s departure was recorded on 21 August 2026. No transfer fee was given for the move, and Riahi is now unattached after two seasons with RS Berkane.
Riahi joined Berkane from MAS Fes in August 2024. That switch was completed as a free transfer, and he went on to be part of the side that won the Moroccan league and CAF Confederation Cup during the 2024-25 campaign.
He also helped Morocco win the African Nations Championship in the same season. The tournament success was the first listed international honour of his career.
Riahi has made 122 appearances in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi, scoring 14 goals and providing 18 assists. He has also featured in continental competition, recording two goals and three assists in 13 CAF Confederation Cup appearances.
His record includes further experience in the CAF Champions League, where he played nine matches, as well as 13 appearances in the Moroccan Throne Cup. Riahi’s overall club career has also included spells with MAS Fes, JS Soualem and RCA Zemamra.
Born in Casablanca, the right-footed winger began his senior career with RCA Zemamra before moving to JS Soualem in August 2021. He joined MAS Fes in January 2023, with that transfer carrying a reported fee of €109,000.
Riahi’s most productive period came during his time in Morocco’s top flight, where his appearances and assists established him as an experienced wide player in the domestic game. His record also includes 8,012 minutes in the Botola Pro Inwi.
The player’s market value was listed at €450,000 at the time of his departure from Berkane, although no fee was attached to his move away from the club.
Riahi has therefore completed his exit from RS Berkane and is without a club from 21 August 2026.
