Omar Correia joins Pisa from Juve Stabia in €3.5m Serie B transfer

France-Senegal midfielder Omar Correia has switched Serie B clubs, joining Pisa from Juve Stabia for €3.5m.

The 26-year-old defensive midfielder has signed a contract with Pisa running until 30 June 2029. He becomes part of the club’s squad for the 2026-27 Serie B season after completing his move on 21 August 2026.

Correia made the move after one season at Juve Stabia, having joined the club from Triestina for €1.1m on 1 September 2025. His transfer to Pisa is the latest step in a sequence of moves through the Italian game, with his market value listed at €1.5m before the deal.

A right-footed player standing 1.87m tall, Correia’s preferred position is defensive midfield. His arrival gives Pisa a player whose role is centred on the area in front of the defence, while also continuing his progression within Italy’s second tier.

Before moving to Juve Stabia, Correia spent the 2023-24 season with Triestina, joining them from Slovenian club FC Koper for €675,000. He had moved to Koper from Paris Saint-Germain B on a free transfer in July 2022.

The midfielder began his senior career in France, leaving Le Havre B for Entente SSG in July 2019 before joining FC Versailles a year later. He then moved to Paris Saint-Germain B in July 2021. His early development also included time with Le Havre’s youth teams after joining from Cergy FC in 2014.

Correia’s career has therefore taken him from youth football in France to senior football in France, Slovenia and Italy. The Pisa transfer marks his third club change in Italy since arriving at Triestina in August 2023.

At Pisa, he joins a club competing in the same division as Juve Stabia, meaning the move keeps him in Serie B while placing him under a new contract through the end of June 2029. The completed transfer sees Omar Correia leave Juve Stabia for Pisa for €3.5m.
