Tottenham consider move for Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush
Egyptian-Canadian forward Omar Marmoush is the subject of a reported Premier League link from Manchester City to Tottenham.
The 27-year-old joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 in a deal worth €75m and remains under contract until June 2029. No transfer fee has been reported for a potential move to Tottenham.
Marmoush has made one appearance for City this season, featuring in the Community Shield. He also played in five matches at the 2026 World Cup, starting 60% of those games and completing 68% of Egypt’s available minutes.
His time at Manchester City has included winning the FA Cup in 2026, when he scored twice in the competition, as well as the League Cup. The forward’s current market value is listed at €50m.
Marmoush began his senior career with Egyptian club Wadi Degla before joining Wolfsburg II in 2017. He later spent time on loan at St Pauli and Stuttgart before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he played prior to his switch to City.
The proposed move would keep Marmoush in the Premier League, with Tottenham the club currently linked with the Egypt international. He remains a Manchester City player with two years left on his existing contract beyond the current season.
