Paul Pogba linked with Kocaelispor as Turkish club target free-agent midfielder
French midfielder Paul Pogba, currently without a club, has been linked with Turkish Super Lig side Kocaelispor.
The 33-year-old left Monaco on 19 August 2026 after a season with the French club and is now being considered for a move to Turkey. The rumour does not include a reported transfer fee or probability, and no agreement has been confirmed.
Pogba, who was born in Lagny-sur-Marne, began his senior career at Manchester United before joining Juventus in 2012. He returned to United in 2016 for a then world-record fee of €105m, winning the Europa League and English League Cup during his second spell at Old Trafford.
He later rejoined Juventus in 2022, but left the Italian club in December 2024 before moving to Monaco the following season. His current market value is listed at €2.5m.
A central midfielder who can use either foot, Pogba has made 157 Premier League appearances, scoring 29 goals and providing 41 assists, while he has also played 132 times in Serie A. His honours include four Italian league titles with Juventus and the 2018 World Cup with France.
Kocaelispor would represent the latest destination in a career that has included spells in England, Italy and France. Pogba’s current status is that of an unattached player, with the reported interest from the Super Lig club yet to develop into a confirmed transfer.
