Abdul Daramy makes Swedish switch as Brommapojkarna secure Copenhagen winger on loan
Danish and Sierra Leonean winger Abdul Daramy has joined Swedish club Brommapojkarna on loan from Copenhagen U19.
The 18-year-old left winger completed the move on 20 August 2026, with the agreement running until 31 December. He joins Brommapojkarna in Sweden’s Allsvenskan after progressing through Copenhagen’s youth system.
Daramy began the 2026-27 campaign with Copenhagen U19 before moving across the Øresund to continue his development in Sweden. His loan represents a step up from the U19 Boys League to senior football, although he has not yet made an appearance in the current campaign.
The winger moved to Copenhagen U19 from FCK Youth in February 2025. He was part of the Copenhagen side that won the Danish Youth Championship in 2026, giving him a domestic youth honour before his switch to Brommapojkarna.
Brommapojkarna are based in Stockholm and compete in the Allsvenskan, Sweden’s top domestic league. Daramy’s arrival adds a young attacking player to their squad, with his primary position on the left side of the attack.
The move also marks the latest stage of Daramy’s progression through Copenhagen’s academy structure. He spent the 2025-26 season with Copenhagen U19 and earned a place in the team that claimed the Danish youth title before securing a temporary move abroad.
His time in Sweden is scheduled to conclude at the end of December, when he is due to return to Copenhagen U19. The arrangement gives him the opportunity to spend the latter part of 2026 with Brommapojkarna before rejoining his Danish club.
Daramy has now completed his loan transfer from Copenhagen U19 to Brommapojkarna, with the deal running until 31 December 2026.
