Ghana maintains its second position in Africa, climbing one spot in the world to 24th with 860 points. Algeria, Nigeria, and Mali complete the top five in Africa, ranked 32nd, 33rd, and 41st, respectively. Tunisia, participating in the World Cup play-offs, is 7th in Africa and 47th in the world. Ethiopia, also in the play-offs, is not in the African Top 20, being 25th on the continent and 95th in the world.
