Togolese defender Koffi Holete makes Moroccan top-flight move to Amal Tiznit
Koffi Holete has joined Amal Tiznit on a two-season contract after leaving ASC Kara, with the Moroccan club preparing for its first campaign in the country’s top division.
The move, reported exclusively by Africafoot, takes the 23-year-old defender outside Togo for the next stage of his career. Amal Tiznit were recently promoted to the Moroccan first division and are strengthening their squad ahead of their debut season among the country’s elite.
Holete is primarily a central defender but can also operate at right-back. That defensive versatility is expected to give Amal Tiznit additional options as they build a squad capable of competing at the highest level of Moroccan football.
The Togolese player began his career with Tambo FC before moving to ASC Kara in 2020. He spent several seasons with the Togolese club, establishing the next phase of his development there before completing his transfer to Morocco.
His move to Amal Tiznit represents a fresh opportunity after a period of progression in Togo. The defender’s ability to cover more than one position is a key part of the profile the Moroccan club has chosen to add to its squad.
Holete has also represented Togo at youth level. Those appearances gave him an early experience of international football during his development and have formed part of his career before the move abroad.
Amal Tiznit are continuing their recruitment work as they prepare for their first season in the Moroccan top flight. The club are targeting a competitive squad for the challenge ahead, with defensive reinforcement among their priorities.
The arrival of Holete provides the team with a player capable of covering both central defence and the right side of the back line. His signing is therefore intended to increase the number of options available to the coaching staff as Amal Tiznit prepare to discover first-division football.
For Holete, the transfer brings an international dimension to a career that began at Tambo FC and developed through his time with ASC Kara. After joining the latter in 2020 and spending multiple seasons with the club, he will now continue his career in Morocco with newly promoted Amal Tiznit.
