Lazio linked with Estoril forward Yanis Begraoui after quick Liga Portugal start
Yanis Begraoui, a forward of Moroccan and French nationality at Estoril, is the subject of reported interest from Lazio in a possible move to Serie A.
The 25-year-old has started the 2026-27 Liga Portugal season in the starting line-up, making two appearances and scoring once. He has played all of Estoril’s available minutes so far, with the goal his only direct contribution.
Begraoui joined Estoril on 1 July 2024 and has established himself as a centre-forward for the Portuguese club. He is valued at €12m and remains under contract until 30 June 2028, meaning any move to Lazio would involve a transfer fee rather than a free transfer.
The forward has previously won the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco, scoring three goals during the 2023 tournament. He also helped Toulouse win the French second tier in 2021-22 and the French Cup in 2022-23.
Lazio’s interest comes as Begraoui begins his third season with Estoril, where he is wearing the number 14 shirt and has opened the campaign as a regular starter. The reported move would take him from Liga Portugal to Italy’s Serie A, although no transfer has been confirmed.
Begraoui’s current Estoril contract runs through 30 June 2028.
