Burnley explore move for Ghanaian-English winger Rak-Sakyi

Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, the Ghanaian-English winger at Crystal Palace, has been linked with a move to Burnley.

Rak-Sakyi, 23, is listed as a right winger and has a market value of €6m. The proposed switch would see him move from the Premier League to the Championship, with the rumour recorded on 17 August 2026. No transfer fee or probability has been established, and the move remains unconfirmed.

The London-born player returned to Palace at the end of May after a loan spell with Stoke City. He had joined Stoke in February, having earlier spent part of the 2025-26 season on loan at Turkish side Caykur Rizespor.

Rak-Sakyi has made 49 Championship appearances, scoring 10 goals, while his senior career also includes 43 League One appearances and 15 goals. He was the leading scorer in Premier League 2 in 2021-22, when he scored 18 goals, and has won the Premier League International Cup.

He moved into Crystal Palace’s senior squad in July 2022 after progressing through the club’s academy. Since then, he has also had a loan spell with Sheffield United and spent the 2022-23 season at Charlton Athletic.

Any move to Burnley would need to be agreed before Rak-Sakyi’s Palace contract expires on 30 June 2027.
