Elche eye Torino winger Zakaria Aboukhlal in LaLiga transfer link

Moroccan-Dutch winger Zakaria Aboukhlal has been linked with a move from Torino to Elche, with the Spanish club reported as a potential destination for the 26-year-old this summer.

Aboukhlal is currently contracted to Torino until 30 June 2029, having joined the Serie A club from Toulouse on 29 July 2025 in a deal worth €7.5m. His proposed move would take him from Italy’s top flight to LaLiga.

The right winger has made one appearance for Torino in the 2026-27 season, featuring for 22 minutes in the Italian Cup without scoring or providing an assist. He did not start that match and recorded 24% of the available playing time.

Aboukhlal began his senior career with AZ Alkmaar after progressing through youth football in the Netherlands, before moving to Toulouse in 2022. He spent three seasons with the French club prior to his transfer to Torino.

Born in Rotterdam, Aboukhlal is eligible to represent both Morocco and the Netherlands and is listed with dual nationality. Torino remain his current club, and a move to Elche would therefore require an agreement before the winger’s existing contract expires in 2029.
