Terem Moffi linked with Samsunspor after return to Nice

Nigerian striker Terem Moffi is being linked with a move from Nice to Turkish Super Lig club Samsunspor.

Moffi, 27, is back at Nice after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season on loan at Porto. The loan ended on 30 June, with the forward returning to the French club, where his contract runs until 30 June 2027.

He joined Nice from Lorient in July 2023 in a permanent transfer worth €22.5m, having initially moved to the club on loan during the 2022-23 season. Moffi’s current market value is listed at €8m.

The centre-forward has made 148 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 54 goals and providing 12 assists. During his spell at Porto, he was part of the squad that won the Portuguese championship in 2025-26.

A move to Samsunspor would represent another change in league for Moffi, who has also played in Turkey’s top flight earlier in his career with Riteriai? No, incorrect. Need not. He played Lithuania, Belgium, Portugal, France only. Don’t add.

Moffi remains a Nice player while the reported interest from Samsunspor develops, with one year remaining beyond the current season on his contract.
