Hussein Labib, the president of Zamalek Club, affirmed that the board of directors has exerted maximum effort to rectify the football team’s course, aiming to fulfill the promises made to bring joy to the White Castle’s fans.
In statements to the “Zamalkawy” program on Zamalek TV, the president of Zamalek said, “The entire board of directors at Zamalek Club worked diligently on the transfer deals, resembling a commando unit, and we achieved more than we aimed for.”
“We strived to the best of our ability for the great Zamalek fans.
The fans were hoping for the conclusion of 3 or 4 deals, but we succeeded in acquiring more than that, bringing in exceptional talents after lifting the club’s registration suspension,” he continued.
Labib added, “Some spoke about Zamalek Club’s delay in finalizing certain matters, but we are moving according to a specific plan that we contemplate, and the Zamalek fans should be convinced of this because it is in the club’s interest and for the happiness of its fans.”
Regarding the signing of Portuguese coach Jose Gomez as the new head coach of Zamalek, Captain Hussein Labib confirmed that Gomez will be a hallmark among the club’s coaches, stating, “Gomez will be one of the distinguished coaches in Zamalek’s history.”
