Luis Felipe Silva set to join Raja AC

Raja Athletic Club have reached a final agreement to sign Brazilian attacker Luis Felipe Silva from Fluminense in the current window.

The Green Eagles have moved quickly to secure the versatile forward, who has already completed his medical examinations ahead of the proposed transfer.

Silva is now waiting for the remaining formalities to be completed before putting pen to paper on his contract with Raja. The agreement is expected to see the Brazilian join the Casablanca club on a three-year deal.

The 24-year-old primarily operates as a right winger, but his versatility allows him to play on the opposite flank and in an attacking midfield role.

That flexibility is expected to give Raja coach Nasreddine Nabi additional options in the final third as he looks to build a squad capable of competing on multiple fronts next season.

Silva’s ability to operate in different attacking positions was reportedly an important factor behind Raja’s decision to pursue the deal.

The Moroccan giants are keen to add more quality and depth to their attacking department, with the arrival of the Brazilian viewed as part of a broader strategy to reinforce the squad during the current transfer window.

Raja will hope Silva can quickly adapt to Moroccan football and make an immediate impact after completing his move from Fluminense.

His arrival would provide Nabi with another attacking option and greater flexibility when selecting his starting line-up, particularly given Silva’s ability to switch between the wings and the central attacking role.

The Green Eagles are now expected to complete the final administrative procedures before officially unveiling Silva as their latest signing.
