Club Africain linked with Senegal defender Mamadou Diatta after ASC Jaraaf exit

Senegalese defender Mamadou Diatta, currently without a club, has been linked with a move to Tunisian side Club Africain.

The 20-year-old centre-back left ASC Jaraaf on 28 July 2026 and is now the subject of reported interest from the Ligue 1 club. No transfer fee has been given for a potential move, while Diatta’s listed market value is €25,000.

Diatta spent the 2025-26 season with ASC Jaraaf after joining from US Goreenne in August 2025. He made six Ligue 1 appearances for Jaraaf, providing one assist, and also played twice in the CAF Champions League.

Born in Dakar, Diatta stands 1.85m tall and is left-footed. His senior record listed in the latest update includes 448 minutes in Ligue 1 and 180 minutes in the CAF Champions League.

Club Africain compete in Tunisia’s top flight, the same league identified as the destination competition for the proposed move. The reported interest comes shortly after Diatta’s departure from ASC Jaraaf, leaving him available for a new club.

Diatta remains without a club as of 14 August 2026, with the possible move to Club Africain yet to be confirmed.
