Uganda midfielder Allan Okello emerges as AS FAR Rabat transfer target

Uganda’s Allan Okello, currently with Tanzania’s Young Africans, has been linked with a move to Morocco’s AS FAR Rabat.

The 26-year-old attacking midfielder is the subject of a transfer rumour involving the Botola Pro Inwi club, with the proposed move reported on 14 August 2026. No transfer fee or agreement has been disclosed, and the switch remains unconfirmed.

Okello is valued at €500,000. He is under contract with Young Africans until 31 December 2028, meaning any move to AS FAR Rabat would involve the Moroccan club reaching an agreement with his current side rather than waiting for his contract to expire.

The potential transfer would see Okello leave Young Africans for a club competing in Morocco’s top flight. AS FAR Rabat is the proposed destination, while Young Africans remain his current club.

Okello’s involvement in the rumour comes during his time in Tanzania, where he is registered as an attacking midfielder. The Ugandan international’s contractual commitment gives Young Africans a continuing position in any discussions over his future, although the reported interest from AS FAR Rabat has not been confirmed as a completed deal.

For now, Okello remains a Young Africans player, with his contract running through the end of 2028.
