KV Kortrijk cast eye over Aris Limassol midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo
Ghanaian midfielder Alex Opoku Sarfo is the subject of interest from KV Kortrijk, with the Aris Limassol player linked with a move to the Belgian club.
Sarfo, 21, plays as a defensive midfielder and has a contract with Aris Limassol until 31 May 2028. He returned to the Cypriot club on 30 June 2026 after spending the 2025-26 season on loan at Russian side Pari NN.
The Accra-born player has made 46 appearances in the Cyprus League for Aris, providing one assist, and has also scored once in nine appearances during the league’s championship round. His current market value is listed at €1m.
Sarfo joined Aris from Ghanaian club Benab FC in July 2023. He subsequently spent time on loan at AEZ Zakaki during the 2023-24 season before returning to his parent club.
Kortrijk compete in Belgium’s Jupiler Pro League, while Aris operate in the Cyprus League. The reported interest comes shortly after Sarfo’s return from his season in Russia, but there is no indication that an agreement has been reached or that formal terms have been finalised.
For now, Sarfo remains an Aris Limassol player under contract through May 2028.
