Paul Pogba linked with New York City move after one year at Monaco

French midfielder Paul Pogba, currently with Monaco, has been linked with a move to New York City in Major League Soccer.

Pogba joined Monaco from the clubs in July 2025 and remains under contract until 30 June 2027. The 33-year-old has a listed market value of €2.5m.

The midfielder has made six Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco, playing 115 minutes in the competition. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the proposed move remains at the rumour stage.

Pogba began his senior career at Manchester United before moving to Juventus in 2012. He returned to United in 2016 for a reported €105m transfer and later rejoined Juventus on a free transfer in 2022. He left the Italian club in December 2024 before spending time without a club ahead of his move to Monaco.

The France international was part of the team that won the 2018 World Cup and has also won four Serie A titles and the Europa League during his club career. His honours include domestic trophies in both England and Italy.

New York City compete in MLS, while Monaco play in Ligue 1. Pogba’s current deal with Monaco runs through June 2027.
