Senegal youngster Dame Bamba Seck leaves Génération Foot for Turkey

Senegalese winger Dame Bamba Seck has left Génération Foot to join Turkish club Bandırmaspor on a four-year contract.

The 19-year-old has completed his development at the Déni Birame Ndao academy and will now continue his career abroad after making the move to Turkey.

Seck captained Génération Foot’s Under-20 side before securing the latest move of his young career. His departure marks another step in the development of a player who has already represented Senegal at youth level.

At Bandırmaspor, Seck will be reunited with Joseph Namatane, another player who previously came through the Génération Foot system.

The move gives Seck an opportunity to continue his progression in European football after his time in Senegal.

The winger was part of the Senegal side that won the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations title in 2023. His performances at youth level helped establish him as one of the players to emerge from the country’s development system.

Seck moved to FC Metz in 2025 before making another change of club with his transfer to Bandırmaspor.

His four-year agreement with the Turkish side now provides the teenager with a new environment in which to continue his career.

For Génération Foot, Seck’s departure represents the latest example of a young player moving on after developing through the academy at Déni Birame Ndao.

The 19-year-old will now begin a new chapter with Bandırmaspor, where he will look to build on the experience gained during his time with Génération Foot and his previous spell at Metz.

Seck’s move to Turkey also reunites him with Namatane, giving the former Génération Foot players the opportunity to work together again after taking different steps in their careers.

The Senegal youth international will now turn his attention to his new challenge with Bandırmaspor after completing his move from Génération Foot.
