Hamza El Yahyaoui joins Bulgarian side Beroe after Moralo CP exit

Spanish-Moroccan attacking midfielder Hamza El Yahyaoui has joined Bulgarian club Beroe from Moralo CP on a free transfer.

The 22-year-old completed the move on 12 August 2026, becoming a new midfield option for Beroe in Bulgaria’s Vtora Liga. El Yahyaoui is a left-footed attacking midfielder who was born in Mostoles, Spain, and stands 1.74m tall.

He moves to Beroe after less than seven months with Moralo CP. El Yahyaoui joined the Spanish club from CD Guijuelo on 15 January 2026, also on a free transfer, before making the switch to Bulgaria at the start of the 2026-27 season.

During the latest campaign, El Yahyaoui made 25 appearances in Segunda Federacion – Group V and scored twice. His move to Beroe represents his first transfer outside Spain after a series of free moves between Spanish clubs.

Before joining Moralo CP, he spent the opening part of the 2025-26 season with CD Guijuelo, having arrived from CD Coria in August 2025. His time at CD Coria followed a move from CP Montehermoso in July 2024, while he had previously been with AD Villaviciosa.

El Yahyaoui’s arrival continues a playing career that has so far taken place across Spain’s lower divisions. He has now moved abroad for the first time, with Beroe becoming his latest club after the completion of the free transfer from Moralo CP.

Beroe have registered the attacking midfielder as part of their squad for the 2026-27 campaign, and El Yahyaoui is now a player of the Bulgarian club.
