Idrissa Toure emerges as Monza target after five years at Pisa

Germany-Guinea midfielder Idrissa Toure is being linked with a move from Pisa to Serie A club Monza.

The 28-year-old right midfielder has been at Pisa since July 2021, when he joined from Juventus Under-23 in a transfer reported at €1.11m. He remains under contract with the Serie B club until 30 June 2027.

Toure has made 113 appearances in Serie B, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists. He has also played 32 times in Serie A during his career, with one goal and one assist.

Born in Berlin, Toure has represented both Germany and Guinea at youth level, with his early development taking place in the German academy system. He came through at Tennis Borussia Berlin before spells with RB Leipzig, Schalke 04 II and Werder Bremen II.

His move to Italy followed a loan spell with Dutch club Vitesse during the 2020-21 season. Toure returned to Juventus Under-23 before completing his permanent transfer to Pisa.

The reported interest from Monza comes with Toure’s market value listed at €5m, while his existing contract means Pisa are not facing an immediate expiry decision. The available information does not indicate that an agreement has been reached or that formal negotiations are under way.

For now, Toure remains a Pisa player, with his contract running through the end of June 2027.
