Stellenbosch FC winger Devin Titus agrees three-year move to MAS Fez

Stellenbosch FC winger Devin Titus is set to join Moroccan champions MAS Fez after the club activated his release clause.

The 26-year-old has agreed a three-year contract with the Botola Pro champions and is due to leave South Africa on Thursday, according to SABC Sport.

Titus has been one of Stellenbosch FC’s key players in recent seasons, but his move to Morocco will mark a new stage in his career. The speedy winger will become the latest South African player recruited by MAS Fez as the club prepares for a demanding campaign on both domestic and continental fronts.

His departure follows the Moroccan side’s decision to trigger the release clause in his contract with Stellenbosch FC. That agreement has paved the way for Titus to move abroad after establishing himself as an important figure at the South African club.

Titus is also set to follow Tshegofatso Mabasa to MAS Fez. The Moroccan champions are strengthening their squad as they prepare to defend their Botola Pro title and compete in the CAF Champions League.

The move represents a significant step for Titus, who developed through the Stellenbosch FC youth system before making his senior debut in 2021. Since then, he has made 176 appearances for the club, scoring 36 goals and providing 20 assists.

His record reflects the role he has played in Stellenbosch FC’s progress over recent years. Titus’ pace and attacking contribution have made him a regular threat from the wing, while his goals and assists have added to his value for the club.

Now, after four years since making his first-team debut, he will continue his career in Morocco with a side that has won the Botola Pro title and is targeting another successful season.

MAS Fez’s interest in Titus is part of a wider effort to reinforce the squad before its title defence and CAF Champions League campaign. The club has already brought in Mabasa and will now add another South African player in the form of the Stellenbosch FC winger.

Titus is expected to complete the move after travelling to Morocco on Thursday. His transfer will bring an end to his time with Stellenbosch FC, where he rose from the youth ranks to become one of the club’s leading attacking players.
