Al Ahly new signing Mounsef Bekar vows to give his best for club

Al Ahly new signing Mounsef Bekar has expressed his excitement about starting his career with the Egyptian giants, insisting he is determined to work hard and help the club achieve success in the new season.

The Algerian defender joined Al Ahly during the current summer transfer window from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb as the Red Devils continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Bekar has already linked up with his new teammates and joined the club’s pre-season training camp in Spain, giving him an early opportunity to settle into the squad and work under the technical team.

The training camp is part of Al Ahly’s preparations for the upcoming season and is scheduled to conclude with a high-profile friendly against Barcelona on August 19 in the Joan Gamper Trophy.

Speaking through Al Ahly’s official website, Bekar said he was delighted to be part of the team’s preparations and was eager to begin working with his new teammates.

He stressed his determination to give his maximum effort during training and contribute to the club’s ambitions on all fronts.
