Burkina Faso international Elohim Kaboré heading to SK Beveren

Burkina Faso international Elohim Kaboré is set to leave Swedish club Hammarby and move to Belgium, where he is expected to join newly promoted SK Beveren.

The 19-year-old has struggled for regular playing time since arriving at Hammarby and is now reportedly preparing for the next step in his career. Several reports indicate that Kaboré is on his way to Belgium, with SK Beveren set to secure his services.

Kaboré joined Hammarby in January 2025 after moving from Ivorian club ASEC Mimosas. The switch gave the young Burkina Faso international an opportunity to continue his development in European football.

However, his time in Sweden has been affected by limited opportunities. Despite being involved with the club, Kaboré has not been able to establish himself as a regular, and his situation has now opened the possibility of a move away from Hammarby.

SK Beveren have emerged as his expected destination. The Belgian side, recently promoted to the first division, are reportedly ready to bring the teenager into their squad as he looks for more regular football.

Kaboré has made 12 official appearances for Hammarby since joining the Swedish club. During that time, the forward has scored three goals.

Those numbers underline the contribution he has made despite his limited playing time. At 19, Kaboré is still at an early stage of his career and a move to Belgium could provide him with a fresh opportunity to gain greater responsibility.
