Al Ahli sign former Al Hilal striker Abdullah Radif on deal until 2030

Al Ahli have signed 23-year-old striker Abdullah Radif on a contract running until 2030 after his recent departure from Al Hilal.

The Jeddah club announced the move on Sunday, 9 August 2026, confirming that Radif had joined as a free agent after his contract with Al Hilal ended.

Al Ahli said on their social media accounts: “The club welcomes Abdullah Radif to his new home, wishing him success in his journey with Al Ahli.”

The club added that it hoped Radif would provide a significant boost to its attack and help his new team-mates continue achieving success while bringing happiness to the supporters.

Radif also expressed his appreciation for the opportunity in comments published by Al Riyadiyah.

“I thank the club’s management for its confidence, and I realise the scale of the responsibility carried by everyone who wears the Al Ahli badge,” he said.

“I look forward to giving everything I have on the pitch and working in a team spirit with my team-mates to fulfil the ambitions of the club and its supporters. I hope this step will be the beginning of a career full of success.”

The forward made 10 appearances for Al Hilal before his contract expired. During his time with the club, he also gained experience through a series of loan spells in the Saudi league.

Al Hilal loaned Radif to Al Taawoun, Al Shabab and Al Ettifaq for one season each. He also spent half a season with Al Fayha.

Radif has played 76 matches in the Saudi league, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.

His move gives Al Ahli an additional attacking option as the club begins a new chapter for the player, who has now left Al Hilal permanently after his contract came to an end.

The announcement did not include further details about the financial terms of the transfer or Radif’s squad number. However, the length of the agreement means he is set to remain with Al Ahli until 2030, subject to the terms confirmed by the club.

Al Ahli’s public welcome focused on Radif’s potential contribution in attack and his role in helping the team pursue further achievements. The striker, meanwhile, said he was aware of the expectations associated with representing the club and underlined his intention to contribute collectively alongside his new team-mates.

His previous loan moves to Al Taawoun, Al Shabab, Al Ettifaq and Al Fayha provided him with experience across the Saudi league, while his 76 league appearances have yielded eight goals and two assists. He now joins Al Ahli after ending his association with Al Hilal, where he made 10 appearances.
