Montakhab El Suez Petrojet sign Abd El Rahman Ramadan from El Dakhleya

Montakhab El Suez Petrojet have completed the signing of Abd El Rahman Ramadan from El Dakhleya on a four-year contract, as they continue preparing for their first Egyptian Premier League campaign since the two clubs merged.

FilGoal.com understands that Ramadan has formally joined the newly merged club after leaving El Dakhleya. The agreement will keep the player at Montakhab El Suez Petrojet for four seasons.

The club are continuing to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign, which will begin with a match against Petrol Asyut. The merger means this will be Montakhab El Suez Petrojet’s first appearance in the Egyptian Premier League.

The club have also completed the signing of Palestinian player Abd El Hady Rashed, who has joined the squad as part of their preparations for the season.

The Egyptian Premier League is scheduled to start on 21 August, with the first phase due to end on 20 February. The second phase is set to begin on 8 March, with the league scheduled to finish on 28 May.

That timetable could change if May’s calendar is affected by the finals of continental competitions, according to Taha Ezzat, chairman of the competitions committee.
