Renard welcomes Diomande’s landmark move to Real Madrid

Herve Renard has described Yan Diomande’s transfer to Real Madrid as “Une fierte pour tous les Ivoiriens”, celebrating the move as a major moment for Cote d’Ivoire.

The Spanish club officially confirmed on Thursday that it had completed the signing of the 19-year-old attacking player from Leipzig after lengthy negotiations. Diomande has agreed a seven-year contract that will keep him at Real Madrid until 2033.
