Cambuur sign Morocco-Netherlands striker Sami Bouhoudane from PSV
Sami Bouhoudane, the 18-year-old Morocco-Netherlands centre-forward, has joined SC Cambuur from PSV U21 for €350,000.
Bouhoudane has signed a contract with the Dutch club through to 30 June 2029, completing the move on 5 August 2026. He joins Cambuur after spending the 2025-26 campaign with PSV’s under-21 side in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.
The striker made 23 appearances in the competition for PSV U21, scoring seven goals and providing one assist. He played 1,188 minutes, averaging a goal every 170 minutes.
Bouhoudane began his time in the PSV system with the club’s youth team in 2022 before progressing through the under-17, under-18 and under-19 levels. He moved into PSV U21 for the 2025-26 season after spending the previous campaign with PSV U19.
His record in the youth competitions included 22 goals across PSV’s under-17 league campaigns, with 13 goals in the autumn phase and nine in the spring phase. He also scored four goals in six UEFA Youth League appearances, alongside two goals in four matches in the Dutch Under-19 Cup.
Born in Bergen op Zoom in the Netherlands, Bouhoudane stands 1.82 metres tall and prefers his right foot. He joins Cambuur as a centre-forward after developing almost exclusively within the PSV setup.
The transfer gives Cambuur a young attacking player with experience of senior second-tier football, following Bouhoudane’s 23 league appearances for PSV U21. Cambuur’s first-team squad is listed in the Eredivisie, marking the next stage of his progression after his spell in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.
Bouhoudane’s market value is recorded at €400,000, while Cambuur have paid PSV €350,000 to secure his services. The deal was completed on 5 August 2026, with the forward committed to the club until June 2029.
