Paris FC consider Watford midfielder Imran Louza as Ligue 1 return emerges

Imran Louza, the Moroccan-French midfielder at Watford, has been linked with a move to Paris FC in a rumour connecting the Championship club with the Ligue 1 side.

Louza, 27, plays in central midfield and is contracted to Watford until 30 June 2028. The clubs have not confirmed a transfer, and no fee has been reported for a potential move.

He has made 111 Championship appearances for Watford, scoring 15 goals and providing 21 assists. Louza joined the club from French side Nantes in July 2021 in a deal reported at €10m.

The midfielder spent part of the 2023-24 season on loan at FC Lorient before returning to Watford permanently at the end of that campaign. His career in France also includes 72 Ligue 1 appearances for Nantes, in which he scored 10 goals and registered eight assists.

A move to Paris FC would represent a return to France’s top flight for Louza, who was born in Nantes and began his senior career with the same club. Paris FC are listed as the Ligue 1 club interested in the player, while Watford remain his current team with two years left on his contract.
