The Algerian U-17 women’s team is intensifying its preparations for the upcoming clash against Benin as part of the qualifiers for the 2024 World Cup.
According to an official statement from the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) on its website today, Saturday, the U-17 women’s team conducted its first training session at the Roni Blouvan Cotonou Stadium in Benin.
This session is in anticipation of the encounter with Benin scheduled for Sunday, at 14:00 local time, marking the first leg of the second qualifying round for the 2024 World Cup.
The training session was attended by the head of the delegation, Rafika Qilati, along with a member of the federal bureau and the head of women’s football.
The team is focused on fine-tuning their strategies and skills under the guidance of the coaching staff in preparation for this crucial qualifying match.
