Bournemouth linked with Karlsruher SC forward Louey Ben Farhat

Louey Ben Farhat, the Tunisia-born German-Tunisian forward at Karlsruher SC, has been linked with a move to Premier League club Bournemouth.

The 20-year-old plays as a second striker and has a market value of €10m. He is under contract with the 2. Bundesliga club until 30 June 2029, meaning any move would require Bournemouth to negotiate a fee rather than sign him as a free agent.

Ben Farhat has made 33 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga, scoring nine goals and providing two assists. His record has established him as one of Karlsruher’s notable attacking players, although the available details do not indicate that a transfer has been agreed or that formal negotiations have taken place.

Born in Waiblingen, Germany, Ben Farhat represents the country of his birth and Tunisia in his nationality background. He joined Karlsruher’s senior side on 1 January 2025 after progressing from the club’s under-19 team.

His development has been entirely within the regional German system since moving from Waiblingen’s youth setup to Stuttgarter Kickers in 2021. He then joined Karlsruhe’s under-17 side in 2022 before advancing to the under-19s the following year.

The Bournemouth link comes with Ben Farhat still tied to Karlsruher for almost three more seasons. There is no indication yet of a proposed transfer fee, contract offer or completion date.
