El Bilal Toure nears fresh Serie A loan as Parma agree terms with Atalanta

El Bilal Toure is edging towards a third successive loan away from Atalanta, with Parma reaching a verbal agreement to sign the Mali international for the coming season.

The proposed deal, reported by Fabrizio Romano, would see the 24-year-old centre-forward move to Parma on loan and includes an option to buy for 11m euros. The remaining negotiations concern the player’s contractual terms should Parma make the transfer permanent from 2027.

Toure’s future has once again moved away from Atalanta, despite the forward still being under contract with the club until the summer of 2027. He joined Atalanta in 2023 but has not established himself as a regular part of their plans, having spent the previous campaign on loan first at VfB Stuttgart and then at Besiktas.

Talks between Parma and Atalanta are progressing positively, with the agreement giving Parma an advantage over a number of interested clubs. Most of those rivals are based in the Premier League, according to an exclusive report by Africafoot.

The move would offer Toure another opportunity to secure regular football after a mixed season in Turkey. He scored seven goals in 26 appearances for Besiktas, a return that leaves his next step under close consideration as the summer transfer window develops.

Parma’s proposed option to buy has been set at 11m euros. However, the clubs must still settle the conditions attached to a permanent move in 2027 before the operation can be completed.

Toure is currently valued at 15m euros, while his annual salary in Italy is reported to be 2,830,000 euros, equivalent to 1,839,500,000 FCFA. Any agreement would therefore involve not only the loan arrangement but also negotiations over the player’s terms if Parma decide to activate their purchase option.

For Atalanta, the arrangement would represent another temporary departure for a player whose long-term position at the club remains uncertain. For Parma, it would provide the chance to bring in an experienced Mali international while retaining the option to make the move permanent at a later date.

No final agreement has yet been completed, but the verbal understanding between the two clubs places Parma at the front of the queue for Toure’s signature. The outstanding contractual discussions will determine whether the proposed loan can be formally concluded and whether the forward could remain with Parma beyond the initial spell.
