Sami Jalal transfer rumour: Copenhagen linked with Viborg winger
Danish-Tunisian winger Sami Jalal is being linked with a move from Viborg FF to Superliga rivals Copenhagen.
The 21-year-old joined Viborg from Kolding IF in July 2025 for a reported €600,000 and remains under contract until 30 June 2031. The rumour comes with Jalal having made one appearance for Viborg in the 2026-27 Superliga season, without scoring or providing an assist.
Jalal began his senior career with FA 2000 after progressing through the club’s under-19 side, before moving to Kolding in July 2024. He made the switch to Viborg a year later and is listed as a left winger who prefers his right foot.
Copenhagen and Viborg are both competing in Denmark’s top flight, with the potential move involving a player whose current market value is listed at €1.5m. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the rumour has not been confirmed by either club.
Jalal’s contract gives Viborg control over his future for the next five seasons, while his limited early-season involvement leaves his position at the club unchanged as the speculation develops.
